Thock TKL DE Kailh Red

Thock TKL DE Kailh Red is a small Tournament-style mechanical keyboard that we think should be on the guest list for every he-sports event.

Its reinforced chassis includes 87 keys with Kailh Red switches that do great in FPS and multiplayer games. Each key is covered with durable keycaps with a German layout that we manufactured out of PBT material with the Double Shot technology. Such a shield ensures confident finger placement, so you don’t have to worry you’ll slip up at a pivotal moment of a match.

Small frame, big heart

Thock TKL DE Kailh Red is smaller than full-size keyboards, but it has a great big heart when it comes to games. It’s a touch over 42 cm wide – enough to ensure extra space for impressive flickshots. Just think how much it will improve your stats! We achieved that by dropping the numpad. This makes Thock TKL DE Kailh Red small and fully game-ready.

We play games a lot and we know that gaming = harsh requirements regarding equipment durability. And that instantly brings Kailh hRed switches to mind, which is why we’ve put them in our keyboard.

Kailh Red are linear-type switches. They pass with flying colors when reaction time is a priority. With the slightest touch of a key, you’re out of your enemy’s sights. The switches are also durable – their lifespan is estimated at as many as 50 million key presses (and thanks to the N-Key Rollover function, each of those presses will be registered and executed).

Not only that, but they’re pleasantly quiet. We imagine they’ll find fans among those who type late into the night (and their roommates).

Thock TKL DE Kailh Red is one tough cookie of a keyboard.

It will support you throughout FPS marathons and will keep you alive on the battlefield. It will even survive rage quits... and being slammed. Yes, we’ve checked.

This is thanks to sturdy keycaps made with the PBT material, using the Double Shot technology. During this process, the keycap mold is injected with two variants of a material that’s both durable and abrasion-resistant. That means our keys require no extra finish, their coating protected from being worn down by a real shield. 

And as a cherry on top – you can remove the keycaps at any time. We include handy tools with the keyboard to make the process easier for you.

Thock TKL DE Kailh Red is a tough guy. Thanks to a reinforced chassis you don’t have to worry that it’ll get damaged during an e-sports tournament. Some even claim it could handle a zombie invasion, but we’d prefer not to test that theory.

The keyboard’s construction with an aluminum top is just the toughest when it comes to damage... and also very rigid! It grips the desk pretty well and doesn’t move around, even when used for a long time. It looks pretty alright, too – embossed patterns on the bottom and ARGB lighting give it a sharp visual style.

Let’s be fair – keyboards without lighting are just fine. But if you want to type in the dark, stand out in the crowd or impress your forum buddies, equipment with hARGB is your perfect solution.

With Thock TKL DE Kailh Red, you can adjust your keyboard’s look to your command center. You can light each of the 87 keys with a different color, change the hue of the most important keys or set the same effect for an entire panel. You can do it via the software included, or with the keyboard itself. 

Some might say this is unnecessary bells and whistles (you can always turn this off). But if you like to play around with design and change the look of your desk once in a while, ARGB lighting will be a de-light.

Angle adjustment

For your convenience, we equipped Thock TKL DE Kailh Red with adjustable legs. They’ll let you set up your keyboard with one of three support heights. Choose whichever you like best. And if you want additional support, you can equip it with a matching Thock TKL Palm Rest (available for purchase separately) – a magnetic addon that’ll keep your wrist comfortable, allowing you more time at the PC. Some people use it as a stand for a coffee mug – but we haven't tested that. Yet.

We nicknamed the software „God mode”. With its assistance, you’ll adjust all keyboard settings to your needs. You can change the type of ARGB lighting, its color, configure its numerous effects and create user profiles. If you want, you can even swap the functions of the keys.
