The keyboard uses Kailh Box Red switches with a lifespan of 70 million key presses, so you can rest easy that your online battles will continue for years. And when you’re sick and tired of Red switches (that hardly seems possible, but it’s good to have options!), the keyboard allows you to hot-swap them, so a change is a piece of cake.

Kailh Box Red are linear switches. They do well when your instant reaction time is important. Compared to Kailh Red switches, the Box version additionally has a reinforced stem. This kind of design makes the switches look like tiny little commandos in full combat gear – it’s no wonder they are hextremely sturdy (70 million key presses) ;) 

In addition, Thock Compact Wireless DE Kailh Box Red Pudding offers an option for some real PROs – it allows you to hot-swap, i.e. replace switches in a simple way. The keyboard is compatible with 3- and 5-pin switches, so it works with most models available on the market.
