At first glance, the differences seem small. Both models are wireless gaming headsets with several connection options, designed for gaming, work and everyday music listening. In practice, though, it takes just a few minutes to see that they meet the needs of very different users.

Viro Wireless focus on versatility, exceptional battery life and extensive configuration options. Viro Infra Wireless, meanwhile, stand out for their remarkably light build and the comfort you will appreciate during long sessions. The models share many features, but differ where it matters most to many people.

Which headset works better at a computer? Is it worth paying more for Viro Wireless instead of choosing Viro Infra Wireless? Or is the lighter model the better choice? Let's compare them across six key categories.

Comfort during long sessions

Headset comfort is easier to judge after several hours at a computer than after a few minutes. That is when differences in weight, headband construction and the materials used for the ear pads become noticeable.

Viro Infra Wireless have a clear advantage here. At just 280 grams, they weigh far less than most wireless headsets with a metal frame. They also have breathable fabric ear pads with memory foam, helping them stay comfortable even during very long sessions.

Viro Wireless weigh 354 grams. The extra weight has a reason: one factor is their much larger battery, at 2000 mAh versus 750 mAh in Viro Infra Wireless. They also use hybrid ear pads combining fabric and PU leather. In return, you get better isolation from your surroundings and a hybrid ear pad finish, although your ears may get warm a little sooner during long gaming sessions. Both models have a metal frame and an adjustable headband. Viro Wireless offer nine adjustment positions; Viro Infra Wireless have seven.

Verdict: Viro Infra Wireless. If comfort over many hours is the priority, their lower weight is a greater advantage than better isolation or more premium materials.

Portability and everyday use

Not everyone uses a headset only at a desk. For many people, how it works with a laptop, while travelling or when switching between devices matters just as much. This is where the differences between the two designs begin to show.

Viro Infra Wireless were designed for maximum convenience away from home. Their low weight, slimmer build and four connection options make them just as useful at a computer as with a phone, tablet or console in everyday use.

Viro Wireless are heavier, but their hybrid fabric and PU leather ear pads provide better isolation from surrounding sounds. When travelling, in an office or in another noisy place, the ENC microphone also helps reduce background noise during calls.

Hybrid Wireless adds another convenience. It lets you use a 2.4 GHz connection to your computer and Bluetooth on your phone at the same time, so you can answer a call without interrupting a game or your work.

The choice depends on what portability means to you. Viro Infra Wireless are 74 grams lighter, making them easier to take along and more comfortable to use for hours. Viro Wireless are better suited to situations where you want better isolation and clearer communication in a noisy place away from home.

Verdict: Viro Infra Wireless. Their lower weight gives them the edge for portability, though Viro Wireless have features that may prove more useful in noisier surroundings.

Sound and configuration options

The differences between these models go beyond driver size. Just as important is how much control you want over the sound.

Viro Wireless have 53 mm drivers and ENDORFY Viro Studio software, which lets you tailor the sound to your preferences. Its options include a 10-band equalizer, sound profiles and virtual 7.1 surround sound. This makes it easy to adapt the headset to games, music and films alike.

Driver size alone does not determine how a headset will sound. It is one part of a complete system: tuning, construction and sound configuration options matter too. That is why any single specification should be considered in a broader context.

Viro Infra Wireless use 50 mm drivers and take a different approach to configuration. Instead of extensive software, they offer two built-in audio profiles, Gaming and Vocal. You can quickly adjust the sound to what you are doing without digging through additional settings.

Do you like tailoring the sound to your preferences or play different kinds of games? Viro Wireless clearly come out ahead. If you prefer a simpler choice between ready-made settings, Viro Infra Wireless will serve you well too.

Verdict: Viro Wireless. Their extensive software and broader configuration options make them easier to adapt to different uses.

The microphone for gaming and calls

Just a few years ago, a headset microphone was an extra. Today, for many people, it matters as much as sound quality. Online meetings, Discord calls and in-game communication mean that how others hear you is just as important as how you hear them.

Both models have a detachable microphone, but Viro Wireless offer more options. Their microphone with active ENC noise reduction effectively limits surrounding sounds, keeping your voice clearer even in less favourable conditions. You can turn the feature on or off at any time to suit your needs.

Viro Infra Wireless also deliver good voice communication, but use a simpler solution without additional noise filtering. An extra foam microphone cover is included as well. In a quiet setting, the differences between the models will be less noticeable, but Viro Wireless have a clearer advantage in a noisy room.

If you plan to use the headset not only for gaming but also for remote work, voice calls or video meetings, the extra microphone features of Viro Wireless may be a real benefit.

Verdict: Viro Wireless. The ENC microphone offers greater flexibility and copes better when background noise could interfere with communication.

Connectivity and versatility

These days, a headset rarely works with just one device. A computer, phone, console or tablet: being able to switch between them conveniently is becoming as important as sound quality.

Viro Wireless offer 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm mini-jack connection. Their standout feature is Hybrid Wireless, which lets you use 2.4 GHz on a computer and Bluetooth on a phone simultaneously. This means you can answer an incoming call without stopping a game or your work. The USB port on this model is used for charging.

Viro Infra Wireless offer four ways to connect: 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm mini-jack and USB. USB does more than supply power: the cable can transmit audio and charge the headset at the same time. Even when the battery runs out, you can keep gaming or working over a wired connection.

Both models are versatile, but in different ways. Viro Wireless make it easier to use a computer and phone simultaneously, while Viro Infra Wireless give you more connection options.

Verdict: Viro Infra Wireless. Four connection options, including USB audio while charging, give them a slight edge in versatility. If you often use a computer and phone at the same time, however, Hybrid Wireless may matter more to you.

How long do Viro Wireless and Viro Infra Wireless last on a charge?

Of all the differences between these models, this one is the most noticeable in everyday use. If you want to reach for the charger as rarely as possible, Viro Wireless quickly show their advantage.

Viro Wireless have a 2000 mAh battery that provides up to 240 hours over Bluetooth and up to 130 hours in 2.4 GHz mode. The Viro Infra Wireless headsets have a smaller 750 mAh battery and offer up to 40 hours over Bluetooth or up to 24 hours in 2.4 GHz mode.

Depending on the mode, Viro Wireless therefore offer more than five times the battery life. With standard use, they can run for up to a month without charging1.

When we designed Viro Wireless, battery life was a major focus. For Viro Infra Wireless, our priority was different: above all, we wanted low weight and comfort during many hours of use. These are two different approaches, and for each model we made a deliberate choice about what mattered most.

Michał, Product Manager ENDORFY

Verdict: Viro Wireless. If battery life is one of your main buying criteria, it is hard to find a stronger argument.

Three all

After six categories, the score is tied at 3:3, but that does not mean the models offer exactly the same thing. Quite the opposite: each comes out ahead where its character is most apparent.

Viro Wireless stand out for exceptional battery life, extensive configuration in ENDORFY Viro Studio, an ENC microphone and Hybrid Wireless. Viro Infra Wireless put low weight, comfort and more flexible connections first, including the ability to carry audio and charge over USB simultaneously.

The price difference is PLN 120. Viro Wireless cost PLN 369, while Viro Infra Wireless cost PLN 249. Paying more for the higher-priced model mainly brings much longer battery life, an ENC microphone, Hybrid Wireless and more detailed sound configuration. Infra counter with a lower price, a weight of 280 grams, four connection options and straightforward Gaming and Vocal profiles.

Which model should you choose? If battery life, more features and greater control over sound are your main priorities, Viro Wireless are worth the extra cost. If you prioritise comfort, low weight, versatile connectivity and a lower price, Viro Infra Wireless offer a strong set of features for PLN 249.

There is no single winner: the better model depends on how you plan to use it. That is where your choice should begin.

1 A month of battery life is possible with standard use: up to 8 hours a day in Bluetooth mode or up to 4.5 hours in 2.4 GHz mode, at no more than 50% volume, with the headset switched off after each use. ↩
