The Solum 2 series opens a new chapter in the history of ENDORFY microphones. Designed from the ground up in cooperation with a German design studio, it includes four USB models: Solum 2 Core, Solum 2, Solum 2 Pro, and Solum 2 Boom Arm. It is a new generation of microphones created for everyday recording, streaming, voice communication, and remote work.
All models are equipped with a high-quality condenser capsule, a proprietary next-generation shock mount, and a detachable metal pop filter. The individual designs differ in equipment, operation, and recording capabilities, allowing them to meet the needs of different user groups, from people making online calls to streamers and content creators. Form that works
The Solum 2 series combines precise workmanship with distinctive design. The next-generation shock mount remains almost invisible, while the classic rubber suspension has been replaced with a discreet damping system. The pop filter is also an integral part of the design, completing its shape in a characteristic circle – when it is not needed, it can be removed easily and quickly.
Behind the simplicity of the form is a multi-layer system for reducing unwanted sounds. The metal pop filter reduces plosive sounds, the shock mount suppresses vibrations transmitted from the desk, and the internal damper additionally isolates the capsule from vibrations. Each element is responsible for a specific task, creating a design that lets you focus on the voice.
One series, four solutions
The Solum 2 line has been designed so that users can choose a microphone that matches their needs without giving up the solutions characteristic of the entire series. Regardless of the model, they get a high-quality metal construction and the same operating logic – with a condenser capsule that preserves the detail and character of every material. The differences appear only as expectations towards the recording increase:
- Solum 2 Core – the basic variant in the series, ideal for gaming and everyday calls;
- Solum 2 – with a sensitivity control knob for quick adjustment to call conditions;
- Solum 2 Boom Arm – on an adjustable arm that frees up desk space;
- Solum 2 Pro – for recordings in the studio-grade 24 bit / 192 kHz standard, with live monitoring.
The entire series is ready to work right out of the box. After connecting the USB-C cable, the microphones work with Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. They also support mobile devices with OTG functionality, while the included USB-A adapter allows them to be used with older computers as well.
