Assembling an electric height-adjustable desk usually brings to mind a manual as thick as a notebook and an evening spent on the floor surrounded by screws. The Atlas S Electric was designed to change that from the ground up — with a one-piece desktop, a limited number of parts, and a build engineered to make assembly super easy, super fast, and manageable even for first-timers.
Watch the Assembly Video Guide
The video walks you through the entire process step by step: from connecting the legs to the crossbar, to attaching the frame to the desktop, to connecting the controller and power supply.
A few deliberate design choices make setup easier. The desktop is a single piece, the part count is kept low, and every component is clearly labeled. Everything ships in one box, and the whole build takes about 25 minutes.
Quick Assembly Guide for the Atlas S Electric Desk
Before you start, lay the parts out on a soft surface. A standard Phillips screwdriver is all you need — avoid using an electric drill, as it can damage the threads. For step 6, lifting and flipping the desk, we recommend having a second person help.
- Assemble the frame. Connect the left and right legs to the crossbar, then screw the bases into place.
- Install the drive shaft and side rails. Extend the crossbar to match the mounting holes in the desktop and secure the connections with screws.
- Place the desktop upside down. Position the assembled frame on top and screw it into the prepared mounting points.
- Add the accessories. Attach the power strip tray, the headphone hook, and the control panel. The controller can be mounted on the left or right side; for left-side mounting, use the included cable extension.
- Route the cables under the desktop. Guide and secure the cables as shown in the instructions, and check that nothing is pulled taut when the legs move.
- Flip the desk with a second person's help. Only plug the power adapter into the outlet once assembly is complete.
The full instruction manual shows the part sequence, the required screws, and the cable routing. As designed, the entire process takes about 25 minutes — even for first-time assembly. If you'd prefer a visual, PDF version instead of the video, you can download it [here].
It's also worth retightening all the screws after about 14 days of use — a standard practice for this type of furniture that helps prevent parts from loosening over time.
Four Finishes, the Same Easy Assembly
The Atlas S Electric comes in four color variants. Choose from the classic black version, white Onyx White, Light Wood with a light desktop and white frame, or Dark Wood, which pairs a dark wood finish with a black frame.
Whichever finish you choose, you'll get a one-piece MDF desktop measuring 114 × 60 cm, a steel frame, and electric height adjustment ranging from 72 to 118 cm. The control panel lets you save three favorite height settings, so once assembled, your ergonomic gaming desk is ready to switch between sitting and standing work right away.
A few screws and about one lunch break later, your new setup is ready to go.
